Peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on October 12, 2022. Retired owner of Foote Farms Meats. Beloved husband of Muriel Foote (Lowry, McNalty) and the late Helen Foote (Dunford). Loved father of Jackie Burfield (Rick), Kim Foote (Jennifer), and Cheryl Butcher (Rob). Grandfather of Gordie Burfield (Debora), Jessica and Chloe Foote, and Sam and Carly Butcher. Great Grandfather to Kaden, Cameron, Cora, Enzo and Ace. Al was also the proud Step-Dad to Luann Ford (Jack Roe), Gwen Parkes (Jim), Dan McNalty (Bridget), and their families. Al was known for his quiet nature, quiet ways and his love of hunting and travel. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society, would be greatly appreciated by the family and condolences can be made online at AshburnhamFuneral.ca. At Al's request aquamation has taken place and there will be no service.
