It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audrey Jean Davis (Renwick) at Rubidge Retirement Residence on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of Donald E Davis (d. 1984) and mother of Donald (“Jack” d. 2018) Davis (Beth), Betty Manley (Dale) and Marion Esson (Ron). Grandmother of Cory Page (Deb), Michelle Major (Keith), Stephen Manley (Jessica), Roger Esson (d. 2018) (Michelle) and Derek Esson (Nancy). Great Grandmother of Avery Page, Keira, and Sydney Major. Only child of the late Hugh and Lillian (Hastie) Renwick. Predeceased by 3 brothers in law, 2 sisters in law and their spouses. Audrey will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Audrey, a loving, strong, hard-working person grew up on a farm west of Keene. Married in 1949 and moved to a farm north of Keene. She always liked her farm life where she milked cows, helped during harvest season, and had a large garden of fruits and vegetables. Audrey enjoyed playing cards, curling, and snowmobiling with friends and neighbours for many years. She became a loyal Blue Jays fan and continued to watch curling on TV always cheering for team Brad Gushue. Funeral Service at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Friday, February 3rd at 11 a.m. Visitation 1 hour prior. Private family interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In memory of Audrey donations may be made to the Keene United Church or charity of your choice.
