CAIN, Bernard George
Bernard Cain of Douro (born in Kinmount) peacefully passed away in his sleep at PRHC on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Retired from Johnson & Johnson, long time volunteer of OMHA, avid outdoorsman, and devoted Petes fan. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Ann Marie (Ross). Dear father of Jason (Jennifer), Julie Allison (Peter), Peter (Melissa) and Robert (Holly). Cherished Papa/Grandpa to Abigail, Aiden, Macklan and Evangeline. Dear brother of Max/Sam (Barb) and Linda (Bob Martin). Predeceased by dear siblings Agnes (Al Page), Arlone Hewitt, Dorothy (Al Deck), Gladys (Bob Waudby), Jean (Ron Smith) and Bob (Marilyn). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Visitation will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Friday Oct 21st from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Douro on Saturday Oct 22nd at 11am. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
