McARTHUR, Cheryl Lynn
It is with great sadness that we announce Cheryl's passing, with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. At the young age of 58, Cheryl fought a courageous battle, but succumbed to cancer at Hospice Peterborough.
Cheryl has gone to be with her beloved father, Hugh McArthur. She is survived by her mother, Gloria McArthur. Cheryl was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Greg Desautel (Jen), Ashlee Desautel, Zachary Desautel (Meghan). Cheryl was a nana to Landon Desautel. She was a dear sister to Martin McArthur (Mary), and Wayne McArthur (Michele). Cheryl is lovingly remembered by Tyler Desautel, Kevin Milne and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Cheryl had a special talent for interior decorating. Later in life she went back to school to acquire her hairdressing diploma and set up her own hair salon. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Cheryl cherished her summers at her trailer with her beloved pup, Gracie.
A small graveside memorial will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, 2551 Whittington Drive, Peterborough followed by a celebration of life at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Rd., Peterborough, from 1 – 3 pm.
