Taylor, Cileana Marie:
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cileana Marie Taylor shares she began her journey to the spirit world on Friday February 26, 2021. She was 22 years old.
An Anishnaabe-kwe from Curve Lake First Nation, Cileana was born on March 10, 1998. Cileana grew up in Curve Lake, spending time in Peterborough and surrounding area, but always found her way back to her community. In her short life, she became known for her humour, kind nature, and contagious smile. She loved to spend time with her family and was always up for an adventure. Cileana will be fondly remembered by all those who knew her as she was the kind of person who took the opportunity to speak to everyone she encountered, whether it was to share a story, a laugh, or a hello.
Cileana is survived by her grandmother Faithe Saunders, parents Melanie Taylor and Crispian Lustic, siblings Savannah Taylor (Jack), Rockina Bird, Erik Taylor, and Sage Castel, nephews Clifford Hoggarth and Raymond Hoggarth, and many aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. Her memory will be carried on by all those who knew her and continue to share their stories of this beautiful soul who was taken too soon.
While it will never feel like enough, the family will be forever grateful for the time they had to share with Cileana. Until we meet again
