Obituary for Darlene Kelly (Dunnett)
KELLY, Darlene Kathleen (Dunnett) – Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health
Centre, with her family at her side, on Friday February 26, 2021. Darlene of Peterborough was 82
years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Kelly – reunited now after 29 years. Loving mother of Derek
Kelly (Laura), Lori Gillespie (Sean) and Sean Kelly (Joanne). Dear grandmother of Bobby, Patrick,
Meghan(Ty), Tanner (Nic), Bridgette, and Austin. Great grandmother of her pride and joy, Owen.
Sister of the late Adelaide Roberts. Darlene is the beloved sister-in-law to many brothers and sisters
on Bob’s side and was loved by the entire Kelly clan. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her
honorary daughter Rhonda Kelly. She was loved and will be remembered by daughter-in-law Sue
Kelly, many nieces & nephews including Jason & his family Josh, Emily, Jordan, their mother Tricia,
and her many friends and neighbors at Westlake Towers.
Retired from Nashua Paper and Appleton Paper after 25 years of service. Darlene was always very
involved with hockey and lacrosse in Peterborough and was an avid Blue Jays fan. She enjoyed
bowling with Bob, dart night,road trips.fishing and social gatherings at Westlake Towers. She loved
shopping at Giant Tiger.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Following mom’s request, Aquamation is entrusted to
Ashburnham Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at AshburnhamFuneral.ca

appreciated.
