Quietly passed away Thursday January 19, 2023. She was born January 30, 1946 in L’Assumption QC. Diane grew up in L’Assumption and travelled Canada while following her husband of 56 years throughout his military career.
She is survived by her husband Pierre Brunet, sister Francine Loyer, children Nathalie (Dan) Cornwell, Lorraine Lizotte and significant other Stephane Viau, Steve Brunet and wife Marion Reaman Brunet and Linda Whyte and her significant other Bill Ferguson. 7 Grandchildren Jonah Cornwell and his significant other Melissa Bradley, Rebecca Cornwell and her significant other Ron Marshall, Brodie Hele, Brandon Hele, Taylor Joines, Brett Lizotte and Shaun Brunet. 6 Great grandchildren Shelby, Dakota, Aubrie, Rowan, Norah and Ella. She is predeceased by her parents Ulysse Loyer and Pauline Pimpere, brothers, Ivan, Edmond, Jean Pierre, Francois, sisters Danielle & Micheline.
Diane’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the providers and nurses at Ed’s House who took such wonderful care of her during this time.
Friends and family will be received at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road on Friday January 27, 2023 from 1 to 2 pm. Followed by a Memorial Service at 2pm
In Lieu of flowers a donation in Diane’s name can be made to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, 1301 Ontario St, Cobourg, Ontario K9A 0N3
