Obituary for Doreena Holden (Lewis)
Doreena Isabel Holden, 95, passed away on February 19, 2023 at Peterborough Regional Health Center (PRHC). Doreena was predeceased by her loving husband Douglas in 2019. They were married for 69 years.
Doreena is survived by daughter Tracy (Pete), as well as family, daughters Pauline (John) and Frances (Bob) who loved Doreena as a mother.
In keeping with Doreena's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to PRHC Foundation
The family are very grateful to those who cared for Doreena and would especially like to thank her godsend ostomy nurses; the PRHC Emergency Department staff, and the Palliative Care staff for their dedication and compassion; the Community Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd. for assistance with aquamation and end of life arrangements.
