SMITH: Florence Elizabeth Mae (Former owner of Cultures Restaurant)
Peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday, April 3, 2022, after a brief illness at the age of 86. Mae, dearly beloved wife of Peter and dear mother of Sharla (Denis) Trudell and the late Peter (Sheila). Beloved Nan of Sarah (James) Young, Stephanie Trudell (Carson White), Robert, Ryan (Tavi), and Steven Smith. Dear sister of the late Marjorie (Bill) Cox and Janice Ross. Friends may call at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Thursday, April 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Mae’s Life will be held at WESTDALE UNITED CHURCH, 1509 Sherbrooke Street, Peterborough on Friday, April 22nd at 11 a.m. Inurnment at Little Lake Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to Westdale United Church or the PRHC would be appreciated.
