Helen JANE Adams (Hiltner)
July 18th, 1942 ~ April 16th, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane on April 16, 2023 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Otto Hiltner and Elizabeth BETTY Ford (Gall) and her husband Lewis Clifford Adams. She is survived by her two sisters, Susan Hiltner and Yara Worral, her children Keri O’Brien (Terry), Michael Adams and Sandra Scott (Christopher), her grandchildren Nate and Nick O’Brien, Kristin and Corey Scott, Alexander and Matthew Adams. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Jane loved travelling, all types of dogs, reading and was an original “Trekkie”. She touched the lives of many over the years and will be fondly remembered for her colourful sense of humour and her propensity to speak her mind. There are many stories to be told about the adventures of Jane Adams that will keep her spirit alive and with all of us.
A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church (1830 Keene Road, Otonabee) at 11 am Saturday, April 22nd with a celebration to follow at the Keene Lion Club (1137 Heritage Line, Keene).
Jane’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her Springdale Country Manor family for their love, friendship, kindness, and care over the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated.
