Obituary for Hans Vanbeerschoten
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough after a courageous battle with cancer in his 77th year.
Loving husband to Pam of 46 years. Loving son of the late Jan and Jean Vanbeerschoten. Dog dad to Luke. Brother of the late Peter. Brother-in-law of the late Tim Jessup. Hans will be remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Hans was an avid gardener and his hobbies included creating model railroads, stamp collecting, and genealogy.
Cremation has taken place. As per Hans' request, a service will not be held.
Special thanks to Dr. Morelli, the staff at the PRHC Palliative Care Unit, Hospice Peterborough, and to sister-in-law Arlene Jessup for support through Hans' illness and passing.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society and Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated.
