LUCAS, JAMES
Peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on February 28, 2023 with his family by his side at the age of 85. Loving husband and best friend of Linda for 36 years. Beloved step father of Randy (Kerri) and Rick Rogers Jr. (Cindy). Cherished Poppa of Caitlyn and Cameron. Fondly remembered by the Lucas family, Joe, Charlie, Jean, the late Leo, Margaret, Mary, Ed, Dan, Kathy & Mike. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jim was a people person as many gravitated to him in a room and would often call on him for advice. He would often tell things as they are and if he was a friend, he likely was a best friend. Jim, you are the kindest and most generous, loving person with a great sense of humour God ever created. We love you and miss you always, see you on the other side.

Family and friends will be received at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Monday March 6, 2023 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. Prayers at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday March 7, 2023 at St. Anne's Parish, 859 Barnardo Avenue at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated.
