Obituary for James Robert "Jim" Parker
Peacefully at Hospice Peterborough in his 84th year.
Jim was the beloved husband of Maddy Parker for 63 years. Loving father of Janet Howe (Bob) of Peterborough, Steve (Karen) of Bridgenorth, Sue Parker-Ellis (Mike) of Peterborough, Teresa Burke (Stephen) of Peterborough. Dear Grandpa of 10 and Great-Grandfather of 6. Cherished brother of many brothers and sisters. Jim will be remembered by many other friends and relatives.
Jim was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for his entire career from the age of 15 until 82. Jim enjoyed travelling with his wife Maddy and they loved going on many adventures together.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday September 6th from 6 to 9 PM and a funeral service will be held on Thursday September 7th at 11 AM both at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough. Interment to follow at Verulam Cemetery in Bobcaygeon.
