Obituary of Janet Murray
MURRAY, Janet Leslie "Jan" (nee Paterson) - Suddenly, at home, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Jan of Peterborough, formerly of Pickering, in her 67th year. Beloved mother of Heather and Katy. Loving Nana of Tanner, Makayla-Rose and Trevon. Dear sister of Dave Paterson (Chris). Daughter of the late Murray and Florence Paterson. A retired case worker who served the City of Peterborough for 25 years, Jan will be remembered by her many friends in the Social Services Department, at City Hall, the Charlotte Mews, and by all those that she served.
A celebration of Jan's life will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 between 2 and 5 pm. Please drop in when you can.
