Obituary for John Findlay
John Barton Findlay: September 24, 1956 – April 12, 2021
It is with great sadness that after a short, hard & courageous battle with cancer/covid 19, John passed away April 12, 2021, at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto at the age of 64. John is survived by loved wife Michele, loving son Nicholas of Toronto, & sister Terry Anne Findlay of Peterborough. Predeceased by parents Don & Eileen Findlay. John was born in Peterborough & lived in Bridgenorth until he finished high school & college in Peterborough. He then moved to Toronto & worked at CBC for 35 plus years until his retirement. For years he enjoyed weekends & holidays with the family at their cottage at Jack Lake in Apsley. There are no words to express how much he will be missed by family, friends, and his shadow Tank.
