Obituary for Lisa Heffernan (White)
Heffernan, Lisa Eleanor (White) (Jan 26 1965-March 19, 2023)
After a life lived with “no regrets” Lisa surrendered her battle with cancer on March 19th 2023.
Lisa is the daughter of the late Jim and Eleanor White and dear daughter in law of the late Jim and Rita Heffernan. Lisa is survived by her loyal husband Terry and daughters Terri-Lynn (Chris Shaw); Jamie; and Brittany (Myles Irwin). Lisa is also survived by her precious grandchildren Paisley, Lauryn, Brody Shaw and Mathew Heffernan. She will be missed by her two brothers, Bill (Laurie) and Brian White. Also survived by her Sisters-in-law Marlene (William) VanKatwyk; Irene (Daryl) Rutt; and Mary-Anne Burnie; brothers-in-law Roy (Bev) Heffernan (late Judy), and Ed (Nancy) Heffernan.
Lisa worked for Canada Post (Lakefield office) for most of her career and recently retired. Lisa was a wise, kind and quiet soul who enjoyed a drama free life. Her favourite pastimes were reading and walking her faithful companion Titan.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mallory and a very special thank you to Hospice Peterborough/nursing staff - for their sincere compassion.

A celebration of life will take place at the Lakefield Legion, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield, on Friday April 28th @7 pm.
