WEDLOCK, Loreen ‘Reenie’ Isobel (nee Luffman)

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Centennial Place, Millbrook in her 85th year. Reenie is now reunited with her beloved husband, Norm Wedlock (2015). Loving mother of Tammy (Craig) Netzel, Cheryl Wedlock, Lynda Hannon (Carl), Donna Thompson (Brad Burton), and Robert Wedlock (Lynn). Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Joel (Amanda), Cheryn (Mike), Neil (Laura), Krystal (Mat), Lindsey (Jessie), Courtney (Kendra), Kaitlin (Kyle), Garrett, Joshua (Emily), and Keagan (Katlyn). Proud great-grandmother of Kyleigh, Katie, Peyton, Jacub, Sophie, Jackson, Mya, Zhavia, and Julia. Reenie will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law, Albert Sheward; sister-in-law, Judy Coppins; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Olive Zinston and Percy Luffman; her sister, Phyllis Sheward; her brother, Jerry Luffman; her great-grandson, Maverick Willett; and her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Don and Grace Wedlock, Vera Gurton, and Marj and Bob Rabethge.

Reenie volunteered for many community organizations. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile (Oronto Temple No. 69), Order of the Eastern Star, and a Brown Owl at St. George’s Anglican Church and Grace United Church. Reenie’s home was always open to family and friends, where she babysat many children over the years and hosted hockey players and international students.

Visitation will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Rd. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11 AM, preceded by a Daughters of the Nile service at 10:45 AM. Reception to follow the service. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriner’s Hospital or the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at www.AshburnhamFuneral.ca.
