Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at the age of 82. Marlene, dearly beloved mother of Brad (Nancy), Karen (Scott) Jacobs, and the late infant Gregory. Beloved Grandma of Christine (Jeremy) Campbell, Jesse (Ashley) Jacobs, and Chelsea Jacobs. Great-grandma of Nicholas Campbell. Dear sister of Barb (the late Jim) Lishman, and the late Doug (Bernice), Reg, and Bruce (surviving spouse Muriel) Garvey, May (Dick) Gabriel, and Hilda (Ray) Brondi. Beloved daughter of the late James Garvey and Susie Salter, and step-daughter of George Salter. A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford, at a later date. If desired, donations to the PRHC Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to Dr. Blake, and nurses Thomas and Jade of the PRHC Palliative Care Unit.
