March 15, 1932 – October 21, 2022
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother at Fairhaven Long Term Care with her children at her side. Predeceased by her husband Charles Bernard Kelly, loving mother of Garry predeceased (Marie), Bill (Pam), Vicki (Wayne), Debbie (Tom), Cathy (Real), Rick (Tammy), Pam (Mike), Patricia (Pat) was cherished by her 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home on Friday October 28, 2022. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations can be made to Fairhaven LTC, LAWS or the Alzheimer’s Society. Pat was a very dedicated, hard working homemaker and avid gardener. She not only enjoyed working in the many beautiful flower gardens but also at her large vegetable garden growing food for the table. Pat is remembered for her love of baking bread, buns and treats which she lovingly shared with others. She loved music, especially Johnny Reid, bagpipes and Scottish jigs. Later in life, Pat made many friends she enjoyed spending time dancing with them at Coyote Cove and Mapleridge Recreation Centre. She enjoyed clogging, line dancing and dressing up for New Year’s Eve. For as long as she could, she loved to walk in nature with her beloved dogs along the local trails. After moving to Fairhaven, Pat loved to walk the halls and spend time socializing with others.
Most of all, Pat was known for her love and complete dedication for her family and pets. At Fairhaven, she was well known for talking daily about how much she loved her children. May you Rest in Peace mom knowing your kids loved you beyond measure and will continue loving you until we meet again.
