Obituary for Paul Sheehan
SHEEHAN, Paul Francis – Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a long battle with cancer, on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 85 years of age.
Beloved husband of the late Anne Louise Sheehan, the love of his life for 24 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Anastasia Sheehan, sister Joanne Sweeting, and brothers George and Ambrose Sheehan.
Paul was known for his great sense of humour and practical jokes. He loved the summertime and filled his days with doing yard work after retiring from a career at Northern Telecom in Brampton, Ontario.
He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, and numerous neighbourhood friends whom he spent time with and cared for. His last wishes for all he loved was for them to be happy and have a great life.
A special thank you to Dr. Geoff Grieve, Dr. J. Hassan, Dr. Beamish, the palliative care staff, and to Father Damian Smullen for their kindness and care.
Cremation entrusted to the Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in Paul’s memory to the PRHC Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated and may be made through AshburnhamFuneral.ca.
