Peter VanBruinessen
November 14, 1949 - March 30, 2023
Peter passed away at Hospice Peterborough after battling all the health challenges thrown his way in the last 5 years. Peter never lost his sense of humour and tried to leave everyone with a smile. He will be forever missed by his wife, Marian, daughters Heather Dzurko (Mark), Andrea Roszell, Ella VanBruinessen (Darryl McClure), his much loved grandchildren Addi, Byron, Evi, Lyla, Cali, Linc, Stan and Vander, his best friend and brother, Danny (Kim), siblings Lydia Doornbos (Ben), Frank (Ineke), Paul (Dorothy), Ed (Lydia), Trudy Boyer (Les), Jackie Lauziere (Jean), Philip and sisters-in-law Marguerite and Jan Scrag (Bob), his many nieces and nephews and so many friends and colleagues. Predeceased by parents Peter and Truus, and brothers John and Mark.
We would like to thank Dr. Beamish and the staff at Hospice Peterborough for their excellent care. A celebration of life will take place on April 15th; 1:30 pm at Mark Street United church, Peterborough with visitation an hour prior. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated.
