Ray Stephens of Apsley, Ontario passed away peacefully at North Hastings Hospital at the age of 100. Cherished husband of Rena Stephens (Earnshaw). Loving father of Connie Parent (Steve), Colleen Claypole (Bruce), and Carol Rado (Will). Cherished grandfather of Shane (Erin), Jesse, Elyse (Dale), Cortney (Sean), Kacy (Dana), Zachary, Thomas (Erika), and Lauren. Ray will be remembered by his great grandchildren, niece Merle Chittick and nephew Doug Patterson. Loving son to the late George and Lillian Stephens. Predeceased by his sisters Francis Nowlan and Vera Patterson.
A special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at North Hastings Hospital and to Brenda Whitmore, Yvonne MacDonald and Nicole McColl for all of their support. A private family graveside service will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Apsley Community Care.
