Obituary for Ronald Bullock
BULLOCK, Ronald Howard
Ronald Howard Bullock entered the presence of His Lord on Saturday, January 7th, in his 88th year. Mourning his loss are his wife of 63 years, Bonnie (Yeo); his children, Mark (Natalie), Karen (Werner) Pries and Nancy; granddaughter, Sarah (James) Barkman, six grandsons, John, Philip (Erin) and Paul Pries, David (Jamie), Aaron, and Daniel Bullock; and three great grandchildren, Emily, Peter and Anderson. He was predeceased by his sister Muriel Hooton (late Harold), and is survived by his brother Keith (late Jessie). His parents were Howard and Gladys Bullock. Ron took great pride and joy in his family, and loved to help people, and as a man of faith also looked forward to meeting Jesus. We mourn our loss, but rejoice in his new-found freedom, released from the pains and discomforts that can trouble an aging body. We are thankful that he left this world very quickly, and without the pain of a lengthy illness. The family thanks the paramedics who worked long and diligently in their attempts to resuscitate Ron. For anyone who wishes to honour Ron’s memory, donations to Youth for Christ or Hope Grows Haiti would be appreciated. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Ferndale Bible Church, 25 Ferndale Avenue, Peterborough. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm, with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm.
