Peacefully, at Hospice Peterborough on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 after a brief illness in her 79th year. Sinja, dearly beloved wife of John and loving sister of brothers, Yoonjin Son (his wife, Sookhee Kim), Hojin Son (his wife Seunghee Lee), sisters Jeongbok Son (her husband SSangchul Oh), and the late Jeongtae Son . Dear sister-in-law of Peter Dunn, James “Jimmy” (Sandy) Dunn, Michael (Candice) Dunn, and Kevin (Michelle) Dunn. Cherished daughter of the late Yeopyo Son and Sook Lee. Sinja will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, their families, and friends in both Canada and Korea. Aquamation has taken place. A Celebration of Sinja’s Life will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, September 23rd at 2 p.m. Visitation 1 hour prior. If desired, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be greatly appreciated.
