Obituary for Steven John (Steve) Waterman
Steven John Waterman of Selwyn, Ontario
October 28th, 1954 - February 23rd, 2023
It’s with deep sadness that the family of Steve Waterman, age 68, announce his passing at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre following a brief hospitalization. Steve was born in Peterborough, ON and employed at General Electric in his earlier years. After a debilitating accident, he spent his time helping others as best he could.
Predeceased by his wife, Brenda Waterman, his older sister, Janet Foley, and his parents, Edwin and Jean Waterman. He is survived by his son, Tyler Waterman (Emily) and his daughter, Sarah Waterman (Shaun) along with his oldest brother, Daniel Waterman (Dianne), and his nephews Adam Foley, Toby Waterman and Shawn Waterman. He will be missed by many other family and friends and remembered for his kind nature and laughter he brought to those who loved him.
Steve’s son, Tyler, would like to extend a special thank you to his sister, Sarah (and Shaun), who have given a decade looking after their father, along with their mother and grandmother, until their passing. A private family service will be held at a later date.
