Obituary for Susan Taylor
TAYLOR, Susan
November 3 1955-January 22 2023
Susan Taylor in her 68th year, of Grassy Road Omemee and proud member of the Curve Lake First Nation passed peacefully on January 22nd, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Her partner of 43 years, Connie McKay along with family members shared stories, music, and memories of their beloved "Goog."
Susan was Mom to Mat (Amy) and Maggie and Grandmother to Lil, Miles, and Kaelin. Sister of Nancy and Janey (predeceased) Loving Aunt to Blake, Shyanne and Desiree, Michael, David, and Dawn (predeceased).
Susan was a strong advocate for First Nations people especially her children. She was an amazing athlete in her youth and a truly outstanding baseball catcher.
We will miss her sense of humour, her willingness to always help out and her kind and loving soul.
