Obituary for Sybil Lunt (Battersby)
LUNT, Sybil (nee Battersby) - Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Sybil of Peterborough, formerly of Liverpool England, was 84 years of age.
Beloved wife of Jon Lunt for 62 years. Dear mother of Ian (Debbie) of Ayr and Glen (Robbie) of Ottawa. Proud Grandma of Justine (Kristopher Robinson), Courtney, Sean, Brody, Kyle and Hailey.
Sister of the late Pat, Frances, Jean and Carol. Sybil will be remembered by many other relatives and friends.
A retired Insurance Adjustor, Sybil worked at The Co-Operators for 18 years. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, making clothes for all the grandchildren. She read books by the dozens. She was a creative folk-art painter, taking any woodwork that Jon created and perfecting it. Sybil and Jon enjoyed camping and took their kids a lot as they were growing up.
Aquamation entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre. A family memorial service will be arranged when circumstances permit.
