Obituary for Violet Spence (Manels)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Violet at Centennial Place Long-Term Care Home on October 26, 2020, in her 95th year.
Pre-deceased by her loving husband John, sister Phyllis, brother Gordon, her parents Percival and Eva Manels and granddaughter Julia Sinden. Survived by daughters Barbara Leithead (David) and Janis Sinden-Lefley, grandchildren Tanya Leithead, Jason Leithead (Shelby), Stephanie Sinden, Daniel Sinden (Katie), Elizabeth Sinden (Mike). Also survived by five great-grandchildren (Alyah, Makenna, Brooklyn, Ryker and Brailee).
The family would like to thank all of the nurses and PSW’s that cared for Violet over the last few years.
At the request of the family, cremation has taken place and a private burial will be done at a later date. If so desired, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
